Mr. Vining has over 30 years experience as an appraiser and expert witness.  He has developed and teaches a course: "Copyright for Professionals" which instructs appraisers on the how-to's and benefits of copyrighting your appraisal reports.  Why should you copyright your report?  What is "fair use"?  What is a "work-for-hire"?  Do you violate the confidentially provision of USPAP by filing your report with the Copyright Office?  Mr. Vining will answer these questions and more.

Patrick is busy traveling the country instructing the "1004MC Workshop."   In this show, recorded back on December 18th, we discuss this new "underwriting form"  and the impact it will have on the appraiser's job of establishing market value.  If you are a residential appraiser doing lender work, and you haven't familiarized yourself with the form and what is involved in completing it properly, you need to pay attention!  I'll be in Patrick's class in Orlando!

Francois (Frank) Gregoire is a State-Certified Residential Appraiser with Gregoire & Gregoire, Inc., in St. Petersburg, FL. Frank served two terms on the FREAB as both Vice Chairman and Chairman from 2000 to 2008 and is also a past Chairman of the National Association of Realtors Appraisal Committee and the Florida Association of Realtors Appraisal Council.  He is a frequent guest speaker for conferences and professional associations on appraisal-related subjects.  Frank is a leading spokesman in the fight against mortgage and appraisal fraud and is currently active in efforts to regulate AMCs doing business in Florida.  He is currently serving on the board of the Florida Quality Council.
